It&#8217;s a sad thought to realize. I think that I&#8217;ve known it for a while now and just didn&#8217;t want to believe it is true. But honestly, life is full of people moving in and out of your life. You can&#8217;t expect them to always be there. People grow up and grow apart. Relationships are constantly changing; sometimes for the better, and sometimes for the worse. That doesn&#8217;t mean you shouldn&#8217;t cherish them while they last. It means that if you find someone who is truly here to stay, don&#8217;t let them go. As for a majority of the people, have minimal expectations, but don&#8217;t be used. Let them prove you wrong. Let them show you that the relationship or friendship is worth it.
