One of the most important skills to have in life is conflict resolution. Conflict is inevitable, it’s a part of everyone’s life. Learning how to prevent conflict and deal with it when it arises is valuable.
Erasing conflict from our lives is unrealistic. Erasing negative outcomes is reasonable and possible.

It’s okay to ask for help. We’re human and by definition we are not perfect. We need support, comforting and advice. We cannot face the world on our own, even though we are often expected to. We all need others in our life to keep us going, to keep us happy and inspired, to keep us hopeful and optimistic.
The term “caught up” can mean a lot of things. It can mean you have missed your favorite TV show for a few weeks in a row and then sat down one day and watched all of the episodes on your DVR and now you are “caught up”. The same goes for school work. You can miss a day or two and then have to make up work in order to catch up. Socially, this term is very relevant as well. I find that teens get “caught up” in the moment, in the pressure, in the popularity. But what does it all mean anyway? It’s crazy to think that high school is just four years of a long life. If you are popular or cool in high school, that’s great. There’s nothing wrong with that. But if you’re not popular or cool in high school, it’s important to realize and understand that there’s nothing wrong with that either. There’s nothing wrong with you. Confidence is key. If you are confident, people will be drawn to you. There’s no need to strive to be popular. There’s no need to give into peer pressures. There’s no need for bullying or cliques. Yet, these trends seem to be inevitable. The only way to overcome them is to have confidence in yourself and to have respect for yourself.
